I am searching for my next position in marketing after experience within a full service agency and am looking for the right recruitment agency to put me in the right direction. Which ones would people suggest as the best and most respected?
Try Ball & Hoolahan – they have found me my last 2 jobs with good companies, good salaries, and neither of these jobs were advertised anywhere else. You’ll get good career advice from them too.
Good luck!

There are quite a few like Reed.co.uk. If you go to their website they usually have different agencies who advertise positions. Most of my jobs have been from reed. I have visited these agncies: reillypeople, juliaross recruitment, venn group, pulse and crucible media.
Have you triedhttp://www.michaelpage.co.uk/
depends whether you want to go into a specific area of marketing or stay in general marketing.
i work in online and can recommend propel and mediacentrix as they have both helped me in the past, for more general advertising, you should try lipton fleming – you can do no worse than buying a copy of ‘marketing week’ and contacting some of the companys in the back of that.
I find most of the mainstream ones e.g. Reed, Michael Page etc. to be lacklustre in their approach. The permanent arm of Stopgap is set a mile apart from these outfits. They listen to what you want and most of the staff have worked in marketing roles so they are quite savvy.
